I knew you were no good
You were a joy to be seen
Your first time around

I can't help but be confused
It's like I never left my home
I could stay, but I am going home
To a place where there's no one there to go
So if it's good I can't stay away

I wish I was there and not so bad to try
To be the one that I am looking for

It's so hard to find somebody
When a friend of mine is just a dream

My mom's told me before

I would have made a better choice
I should have known that I needed someone
I thought it was best that I leave
And to say the least, I'm glad I finally found somebody

I will have stayed until the end
